The undertaking, construction and installation of cereal storage bins (SILOS) is a sector in which EMKAT S.A. has gained vast experience with installed capacities of more than 2,500,000 million Tons.

The grain storage process involves two main procedures: the reception of the product from the intake hopper and its conveyance by means of a chain conveyor and elevator system to the storage bins (SILOS).

The discharge procedure is carried out by a screw-conveyor, chain conveyor and elevator system through which the loading bin is fed and from the loading bins the product is loaded on trucks.

Furthermore, the company undertakes the installation of high tensile galvanized corrugated steel structure storage silos with either flat or hopper bottoms.
